The Bird of Paradise flower is called the Strelizia reginae. And in fact, you could imagine the wings of a bird with the jagged, slightly slanting flowers. The petals are yellow and orange, the petals are blue-violet.

What makes the flower of this Strelitzia so special is its shape. Only half of the flower peels out of the bract, while the remaining petals are covered in the lush green bract. This creates the look of the wings spread for flight.

No wonder that the Strelitzia reginae is often used for imitations! The artificial flower offered here is also designed as a bird of paradise flower. With its long and strong stem, it fits well in a floor vase. The leaf bases are only indicated in the lower third and in the middle of the stem.
