OASIS Biolit Floral Foam Half Brick for Flower Arrangements

This two-piece set of OASIS Renewal Biolit floral foam is supplied in a half-brick shape for professional flower arranging and other floristry work. Each piece measures 12 x 12 x 8 cm externally, with a foam surface measuring 11 x 11 cm. The foam is brown when dry and turns deep black when wet. It is suitable for soft and hard flower stems and can be cut in either a wet or dry state. Its stated water-holding properties make it suitable for arrangements where water is used with the foam.

Professional Classification and Application

Use the half-brick pieces as a base for flower arrangements, table decorations and work for funeral floristry. Their compact format is suited to projects where a defined block of foam is needed. The foam accommodates both soft and hard stems, allowing florists to select materials according to the design. It can be cut to shape while wet or dry, which supports preparation for arrangements with different layouts.

For work involving water, the product’s water-holding properties are relevant to the arrangement plan. The foam’s colour changes on wetting: it appears brown when dry and deep black when wet. Consider this visible difference when placing foam in a design, particularly where the foam may remain exposed. Check the external dimensions and the available foam surface against the container before starting. No outdoor suitability or weather resistance is specified.

Use in Retail and Commercial Design

The two-piece pack provides foam for separate projects or for preparing more than one arrangement. Floristry businesses can keep the pieces with cut flowers, containers and other arrangement materials used in daily production. The half-brick format can be incorporated into table designs, funeral floristry work and other flower displays where its dimensions suit the vessel or base.

For shop-floor planning, use the dimensions to select a compatible container and to estimate the working area for stems. The pieces can also be allocated to demonstrations, seasonal displays or event arrangements where floral foam is part of the design. Store unused foam in a suitable dry storage area; specific storage conditions are not provided. The product is not described as reusable, so no reuse procedure is stated.
