Lagurus ovatus, also known as pennisetum, velvet grass or rabbit's tail because of its shape, is a species of grass with a particularly attractive appearance. The enchanting feather bristle grass belongs to the sweet grass family and has velvety soft, very decorative panicles. From the spike-like grass panicles of the Lagurus also occasionally protrude just as soft awns of the lemmas.

The rustic Lagurus dried flowers go particularly well with various ears of grain, physalis and willow branches.

You can also tie the natural Lagurus into a pretty wreath. Or you can shorten the stalks of the decorative grass and incorporate them into dry arrangements for autumn and Thanksgiving. The dried flower Lagurus is also very suitable for graceful funeral arrangements.
