A trend is coming back: Some know spiky frog, known in Japanese as Kenzan, from their grandmother. This plug-in aid is an alternative to the classic plastic plug-in foam. Ikebana is the name given to the Japanese art of arranging flowers, which is based on traditional knowledge and craftsmanship.

This stick consists of a rectangular, silver base plate, from which the practical metal needles made of brass protrude. The arrangement base has enough weight so that even long and heavy flower arrangements do not tip over. Plant stems are easily inserted between or on the spines of the flower hedgehog. You can arrange artificial fabric flowers just as well with the Kensan as fresh cut flowers or dried flowers.

The Kenzan is ideal for anyone wanting to try their hand at Ikebana, the Japanese art of floral arrangement. You can just as well put together table decorations inspired by the farmer with grain, meadow flowers and flowering branches. If you place this practical stick holder in containers or bowls, you can add natural materials such as water, bark or pebbles to the stick hedgehog so that the floral arrangement looks even more natural.
