The narrow and tall wooden insect house has three floors and has five separate compartments.

The upper compartment under the short gable roof provides fine wood shavings and a compartment with loopholes.

In the middle you can see tubes with various holes that provide nesting aids for wild bees and parasitic wasps in particular. In the lower area there is a compartment for lacewings with narrow oval openings and a compartment with round pieces of wood and tubes that provide protection for wild bees.

The upper compartment with wood chips also invites lacewings and other insects that like it a little warmer. The compartment is insulated by the wood chips. The mesh grid in front of it prevents the chips from falling out. It also offers protection from predators that cannot get through the mesh due to their size.

The wooden insect hotel has a suspension on the back wall so that you can easily attach the insect house to a tree or house wall.
