The eucalyptus plant has narrow oval leaves in the shape of a lance. Therefore, these leaves are also called lancets. Older eucalyptus leaves in particular take on this shape, while the young leaves still appear round to roundish oval.
You can see many small buds on the eucalyptus branches. Each of the preserved eucalyptus branches was thus harvested with the first signs of flowering. The wood of the branches is brown to reddish-brown in color.
The eucalyptus in preserved comes with a net weight of about 150 grams. This corresponds to about five branches with densely packed narrow oval eucalyptus leaves and buds.
