Thistle teasels, also known as wild teasels or Dipsacus, are an indispensable part of funeral floristry and an important part of dignified grave decorations, funeral arrangements and wreaths for Remembrance Sunday and other memorial days. But thistle teasels are also an attractive element for bouquets and other floral works such as autumn wreaths and arrangements in autumn decorations and for Thanksgiving.

The dried flower heads of the teasel have a typical cylindrical shape and are characterized by an exotic and graceful appearance. Therefore, they can be combined very well with exotic plants such as palm spear, achillea and banksia as well as with classic natural products such as cones, grasses and dried flowers.

The natural thistles harmonize wonderfully with delicate cream and earthy natural tones, but also with pastel tones and strong colors such as mustard or burgundy. Thanks to their long stems, the thistles can be easily inserted into floral foam despite their thorns or attached to wreaths made of straw or willow using metal wire.

To give grave decorations a personal touch, add elegant wreath ribbons and dignified decorative figures to the funeral floral arrangement with cardoons. In the area of autumn decorations and for Thanksgiving, berry branches in various colors as well as small decorative apples and pumpkins can be beautifully incorporated into autumnal pieces as table decorations or for hanging.

The natural dried teasels come in a bunch of 4-6 stems, which have a total of 8 heads. The total length of the teasel stems is approximately 54 - 61 centimeters. The size of the individual flower heads varies with a length of approximately 7 - 9 centimeters and a width of approximately 4.5 - 5.5 centimeters.
