The beautiful natural mother-of-pearl article, also known as Placuna placenta, can be used in a variety of ways for decoration or in floristry.

You can lay and glue the round, flat mother-of-pearl shells as well as carefully drill them through and then thread them on.

Add pearls or decorative diamonds to the mother-of-pearl discs or combine the enchanting South Seas decoration with real sand, decorative fish, a lighthouse or even a small sailing boat and seagull figures to arrange a perfectly formed maritime decoration.

Tip: The delicate capiz letters can also be used wonderfully for a wedding decoration. Since you can write on them with a permanent marker, you can use them to create place cards for a banquet table, for example, in no time at all.
