The planter represents a larger version of the classic flower pot, which is used with preferences in the outdoor area and in its shape is often much larger than planters for your own four walls. Most planters are deliberately designed for use on the balcony, terrace or in the garden and are made of weatherproof materials such as clay or rattan, which can be left all year in the wild. The variety of flowers and plants that can be grown and kept in a planter is very large and includes many plants that are otherwise exposed in the garden area. The advantage of the planter is shown here in its large, spatial flexibility, as the tub can be easily converted into another area of the garden or terrace. Should this not be possible without further ado due to the excessive weight or additional weight of the plant, the specialized trade offers aids for targeted transport such as trolleys and boards. It is also particularly popular here not to completely fill planters with soil or granules, but to limit them by an insert. The space between the insert and the edge of the planter can be filled up with much lighter filling materials and thus made visually appealing.
