aromatic plants
Scented plants is a collective name for all flowers and other plants that secrete a more or less strong aroma and retain it even when dried. In addition to numerous types of flowers, which have a subtle fragrance of their own and provide so many flower friends with another argument for the purchase, herbs are among the most fragrant plants. These are used both in the kitchen and not only give dishes a distinctive smell but also a special taste, and fragrant plants are also used in scented sachets to achieve certain effects through their aroma. In addition to the diffusion of a pleasant smell indoors, fragrant plants also take on practical tasks, such as warding off moths from clothes by the scent of lavender. Planting this type of aroma at all, which in most cases is perceived as neutral or pleasant by humans, serves to attract insects for reproduction. In addition to bright colors as an attractor for bees or butterflies, it is above all scents to which animals, like us humans, react and which serve a very practical purpose for the preservation of countless plants.
