A pair of scissors is a special variant of scissors, which is often used in the field of floristics, but is even more popular in the processing of textiles and professional tailors. A pinking scissors does not differ in size and shape in a conventional household scissors, the main difference, however, are the two serrated cutting blades, which fits exactly into one another when superimposed. With a pink scissors fabric and fabric of any child is cut, with the special blade shape to make the straightest possible cut. If conventional scissors are used when cutting fabric, it is not unlikely, depending on the type of fabric, that fibers will be unintentionally and thus fray the edges of the cut fabric. A pair of pinking shears gives the fabric a minimal amount of leeway and thus provides the interface through the natural shape of the fabric itself, which always leads to a straight edge without conscious destruction of the intact fabric structure. This not only plays a role in the processing of textiles into clothing and decorative elements, but florists thus relies on the positive properties of these scissors.
