The landscape gardener's field of application is particularly varied and is used both in the private environment and in public buildings and parks. Basically, in the everyday job description, the task is to fulfill the design of green spaces according to standards between aesthetics and cost-effectiveness, whereby depending on the client different emphases have to be set. Since untouched nature can hardly be discovered in the urban environment in particular, the landscape gardener should return a natural character to the cities through the deliberate planting and design of the public space and thus contribute to the well-being of residents or gainfully employed on a larger company premises. Of course, the landscape gardener can also be used for private needs, to make a garden according to all the rules of art to an aesthetic work of art. As with most training occupations, a complementary training as a landscape gardener can be completed, which can pave the way for a self-employed work.
