Nowadays the term inspiration is mainly used in the artistic environment, but has its roots in the religious and spiritistic area. The term literally derives from the Latin spirit for spirit or soul, the inspiration is understood as breathing in the spirit or a certain idea. It is precisely this acquisition of ideas that plays an important role in the artistic context, so that an artist is able to develop new ideas and to implement them in their respective creative style. The way in which inspiration takes place varies greatly from person to person and can be composed of positive and negative experiences and impressions. In the religious environment, the coming of a deity over one's own spirit is understood as inspiration, which, however, does not necessarily lead to an artistic manifestation, but rather influences, for example, actions on the further path of life. In the modern living environment, artists get their inspiration primarily from their individual everyday life as well as the artistic influences of other artists with whom one can identify. The inspiration is not to be understood as a copy or template according to which your own art should be developed. Rather, experiences, experiences and objects of inspiration serve to develop new ideas and expressions of your own, as is also possible in floristry in addition to other art areas.
