Forget-me-not is one of the best-known, blue flowers in this country, which already bears its symbolic meaning in its name. Between lovers, friends and other people with a love for each other, the forget-me-not is gladly presented on farewell as a souvenir of the time of the absence of a cherished person. The forget-me-not usually has a blue color by nature and so makes the grief clear, which is symbolically linked to the blue color of the water, especially with the tears of a man. Incidentally, forget-me-not has its symbolic significance not only in Germany, but in many other countries around the globe, where the respective translation has the same meaning as in German and thus serves the memory of a valuable person.
