The term design generally stands for the shaping of objects of all kinds, which should include both practical and aesthetic needs. In German, the term design has become equivalent to the term design, and the study of this subject is now also conducted under the name of design. Design is literally derived from Latin and means something like drawing, the elaboration of a design thus initially represents a pure draft of how everyday objects or art objects can look. A contemporary design can be based on various requirements and, for example, maximize the benefit of an object for people, other designers tend to emphasize the artistic value of their work and thus combine their own creativity with functional properties. Design also plays an important role in floristry, as well as in the design and use of decorative elements, whereby this can be based, for example, on specific generations or special preferences of women and men. In addition to the pure design, colors, patterns and their respective effects also play a role in the aesthetic and practical character of an object in its design.
