daffodil D like deco flowers The narcissus represents a separate genus in botany and is native to the natural environment on the Iberian Peninsula and in North Africa. Single species of daffodils thrive excellently in Central Europe, the most famous representative is the daffodil, which has been considered for decades in this country as one of the main harbinger of spring. From this, the popularity of the plant in the late winter months and early spring weeks, in which the daffodil and other narcissus significantly characterizes the flower trade. As the German name of the most popular narcissus species suggests, daffodils form large, down-hanging flowers in a striking bell shape, which, however, only bloom once a year and then multiply via the onion stored in the soil. The scientific name Daffodil derives from the ancient Greek word for "numb" and refers to individual narcissus species that emit an unpleasant, pungent odor. Such daffodils, however, are not found in the modern flower trade, with the biodiversity of the narcissus ensures that it can be planted in numerous environments and unfolds its flowers in each new spring.
