container
As a container, a collection of flowers and other green plants is referred to, which are assembled by a floristic aesthetic criteria and usually tied together with flower trimming wire. The container thus represents a special form of the classic bouquet of flowers, whereby here individual cut flowers are usually not held together with a wire and thus can unfold freely in a flower vase. In a container it plays an essential role for the gardener or florist, that the compiled plants maintain their optical form, as this was planned by their producer. An important role plays the container in the production of flower arrangements, which is exposed to a movement and is not placed in peace in closed rooms. To name for example is the vehicle jewelry at a wedding or the funeral and grave jewelry, which should decorate for days in a solid form a tomb. Wreaths and similar arrangements can also be regarded as a modification of containers due to their design, but these floristic art objects have a physical basis that is not present in the classical container. The modern floristry offers containers not only from cut flowers and green plants, but also holds containers of dried flowers and other decorative elements for sale.
