Botanical names are an integral part of the nomenclature of science and are established in all flowers and other plant species. Botanical names serve to distinguish all types of a specific, biological organism and linguistically make the delineation of different variants and peculiarities of flowers and plants possible, which look identical to the layman at first sight. Any plant that is discovered in nature or purchased from a professional florist has a botanical name that makes it possible to precisely name the plant. All botanical names are in Latin and make a division into genus, species and species not only possible in plants. Rose plants, for example, bear the scientific name rosa, special species have a complementary name, for example rosa pendulina in the alpine rose. The unique Latin name also allows botanists, florists and scientists to clearly identify plants and other living things beyond the borders of the native language, thus promoting research in the botanical field on an international basis.
