Spring & Easter S like salt glaze The term decorative wire refers to classic flower binder wire, which, however, is given a particularly aesthetic appearance thanks to a colored coating made of plastic or similar extensions. Decorative wire is used in classic floristry as well as in other creative activities and can therefore not only be purchased in specialist florist shops, but also in decorative shops and craft stores. Decorative wire is usually made of aluminum or similar, light metals, which can be brought into the individually desired shape without great effort. Once this has been brought about, the wire no longer moves into its original position and can thus be used as a basic framework for decorative elements such as artificial flowers, wreaths and flower arrangements. Even without additional decorations, decorative wire can be used as an aesthetically complementary element; in this case, colorful models are preferred to the pure, metallic shapes. Colorful decorative wire is used in floristry, especially when tying bouquets and other loose arrangements, so that the wire brings stability to the container and keeps it in its intended shape even after days or weeks.
