color perception
The term color sensation describes the reaction of people and other living beings to different colors. The general color perception can be divided into different aspects, which make a purely objective analysis of sensations for certain hues difficult and are in most cases culturally shaped. Throughout the history of mankind, color sensations have developed that are closely related to human nature and are felt in the same way by the vast majority of people. The shade of green, for example, dominates nature in Central Europe and is perceived as calming and natural by most people. Red often signals the color of the blood to the subconscious and is therefore understood as a warning color that in ancient times could have meant injury or the death of a fellow human being. In addition to these universal sensations, other color impressions are given more culturally, the color black and the grief associated with it in our latitudes are rated much more neutral in other parts of the world. Ultimately there is also an individual color perception of each person, which in its basic features corresponds to the natural and cultural foundations, but also has personal features. For this, one or more of a person's favorite color can be counted, which trigger a particularly positive, individual color sensation and are therefore often chosen for bouquets or other decorative elements.
