Church jewelery
Church ornaments are all ornaments that are traditionally found in a church building and this often take symbolic meanings in the respective religion. In the Christianity of Central Europe, church decoration was already integrated into the architecture of churches and chapels for centuries, but nowadays the term is understood as a decorative accessory that is set up for church festivals and is intended to ensure a festive and fitting occasion. An important role is taken here by floral decoration, which permanently finds its place in churches throughout the church year and is here regularly exchanged for a fresh sight. Since a clerical building is more of a purpose-built structure dedicated solely to holding worship services and Christian festivals, traditionally a cooler atmosphere can be found in church buildings. By floral church decorations, the atmosphere should rather be loosened and create a vivid impression, which meets the idea of the divine life donator. In other religions around the world, church decoration also plays an essential role and is often even more opulently positioned than in Catholicism or Protestantism. The adornment of an altar can for example be done by a complete covering with flowers of the season.
